Stadlbauer Marketing & Vertriebs GmbH, manufacturers of Carrera car racing sets, launched a new Carrera RC product line in 2010. No other manufacturer in the toys and games segment can match the long-standing tradition of Carrera products for their combination of top speed, premium quality, superior aesthetics and the very latest technology. These qualities have of course been integrated into the remote control Carrera RC series vehicles as on-road and off-road models.

The market for toys demands a large degree of creativity, flexibility and a feel for the right trends; all characteristics that have distinguished Stadlbauer from the rest from the beginning. The expansion of the product portfolio to include the Carrera RC series of radio controlled cars, boats and helicopters has given their developers the opportunity to skilfully implement the typical Carrera attributes of speed, quality, the latest technology and maximum gaming value, within the toy market. Just one year after the launch of this line the series has already reached a supreme level of technological content and creativity.

Long operating periods, short recharging breaks and breathtaking top speeds.

All Carrera RC product line models are ‘Ready to Run’ and are particularly popular in the radio controlled model segment due to their many innovative features. All RC vehicles and RC boats use high performance Li-Ion batteries that guarantee long running times and quick recharging. All RC helicopters are equipped with LiPo batteries to ensure every pilot enjoys a long flight times with spectacular manoeuvres.

The top favourites among the entire RC series are the 'Racing Machines' with 2.4 GHz technology. These 1:10 scale models are equipped with front and brake lights, and are real RC giants. There’s no hiding the power and speed packed into this 35 km/h bundle of energy. After all, it is a genuine, thoroughbred racer. Carrera RC also offers a lap counter set that helps to transform a battle of the giants into a full-blown competition. This accessory means time-regulated lap-based races are another speciality that can be added to the freestyle Racing Machine driving option. The Carrera RC Racing Machine lap counter set consists of two pylons and a light transmission cable that serves as a start line, lap marker and finishing line.

Cars equipped with Digital Proportional technology can not only be manoeuvred smoothly around 360°, they also react to even the slightest move of the accelerator. The 2.4 GHz technology in the 1:10 and 1:12 scale models, in the 4-channel and 3-channel helicopters, and in the Ferrari Boot Arno XI, enables up to 16 RC models to be operated at the same time, independent of the radio frequency.

The ‘Ready to Fly’ models, Sky Hunter, Red Eagle and Spider Fox, are governed by an excellent 4-channel control system and a built-in gyro system that automatically stabilises the helicopters in the air. This technology allows the helicopters to be steered in every direction and even allows banking moves. Air Toro and Green Chopper are equipped with a 3-channel system for simplified flight manoeuvres, so that even inexperienced pilots can get off the ground and soar away.

 ‘Men become boys – boys become men!’

The highlight of the year for Carrera RC in 2012 is the new ‘Servo Tronic’ control system. In contrast to ‘Full Function’ control, which only allows the vehicle to steer forwards and backwards, left and right, the technology developed by the manufacturers, Stadlbauer, facilitates multi-step steering and driving functionality with a far greater degree of precision. The first ‘Ready to Run’ models to boast the new Servo Tronic technology include the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a powerful cable winch, the Big Mamba, the Fire Fighter and the Spy Control. Furthermore, the 2.4 GHz technology enables all the aforementioned models to participate in frequency-independent parallel race action for a total of 16 vehicles..
