Even before Austria joined the European Union, Stadlbauer read the sign of the times and recognised the future importance of Central and Eastern European countries. As a consequence, the wholly owned subsidiary Stadlbauer Kft was set up in Budapest in 1991.

Seven years later, Stadlbauer entered the Polish market with Lukas Toys, another wholly owned subsidiary. In addition to these markets, successful cooperations with distributors have been set up in the Baltic States, the Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Romania. In all these countries, we are committed to successfully developing our brands further. The motivation behind our work is that we want to make our high-quality products, many of which also have educational value, available to as many children as possible.
